He was a student at the Scuola Normale Superiore and researcher at the Political and Social Science Department of the European University Institute in San Domenico of Fiesole. He thought at the University of Zurich and at many Italian Universities; he gave lessons at the Maritime War Institute in Livorno. He is in charge of different researches at the Strategic Study Military Centre in Rome and cooperates with the Italian Minister of Defence. He is a member of the Scientific CESDIS Committee in Turin, the director of the International Center for Intelligence Studies in Paris, member of the ISTRID in Rome and global strategy consultant for important Italian companies. He is a lecturer at the Mediterranean Area Master organized by the San Pio V University of Rome and is a member of IAI, Institute for International Affairs of Rome. He wrote for GNOSIS, an Italian Intelligence magazine. Giovanni Nacci

Intus Legere Founder & Director

Giovanni Nacci is a former Navy Officer. He started his career at 5° detachment “Cooperazione Internazionale e Infrastrutture NATO”  at the Central Balance Department of the Italian Minister of Defence. He was a member of the Scientific Committee of CeSDiS, and he is a partner still now. He is the coordinator of the local office of APICIS (Associazione per l’Innovazione nella Cultura dell’Investigazione e della Sicurezza) in Pescara, that was set up in the area of the Scienze dell’Investigazione First Degree Course at L’Aquila University. He is a consultant in methods and systems for the strategic treatment of information and specialist in Open Source Intelligence applications , he is the author of several articles and essays published by Nyberg, Cesdis, NetJus, Intelligence&Storia. He was a Columnist at "Analisi Difesa" magazine of politics and militar affairs too. He is involved in training and diffusion within the topics of strategic connection among technology, information society, intelligence and security in a broad sense. 

He is the Founder and Director of the "Intus Legere" network.
